Primary Responsibilities

In the role of a Water Conveyance EIT, we'll count on you to:

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater pumping systems, pressurized pipelines, and gravity pipelines under instruction from the Project Engineer and Project Manager
• Prepare plans for pipelines and pumping stations, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work collaboratively with the owner design team members
• Assist with Construction Administration including shop drawing reviews and field inspections
• Perform other duties as needed
• Collaborative design development is key to our continued success. As such, applicants should expect to be in the office at least four days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• Interest and experience designing water/wastewater pumping and conveyance systems
• Proficiency in technical report writing
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Experience with hydraulic calculations for pump and/or pipeline sizing
• Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and/or ArcGIS
• Experience with GIS
• Ability to demonstrate adept writing skills

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
• Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Colorado: $61,215.00 - $87,450.00
