Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead position involves receiving and shipping for a large distribution and logistics company. You will use computer skills for inventory purposes, particularly with Excel, and manage tasks such as picking and packing orders of servers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Place racks utilizing laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following provided diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using various hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers, quantities, and ensuring material is in pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components utilizing multiple warehouse management systems.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5s standards.
• Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inventory management.

• Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse inventory.
• Safety awareness and attention to detail.

The position is based in a clean and organized warehouse environment, with work hours shifts available:

Wednesday Friday; rotating Saturday 5:30am 6:00pm

OR

Wednesday Friday; rotating Saturday 5:30pm-6:00am

OR

Sunday Tuesday; rotating Saturday 5:30am-6:00pm

OR

Sunday Tuesday; rotating Saturday 5:30pm-6:00am

Pay $28 - 32/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, Nevada (USA Parkway).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
