Vice President Regional Account Leader
The Vice President is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all phases of a successful regional operation in order to increase profits and encourage growth. Build sales while controlling expenses, growth, and maintaining efficient daily operations. Assists with the preparation and achievement of annual business plans.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic direction and thought leadership with primary responsibility for maximizing growth and developing and executing innovative strategies to achieve objectives.
- Defines the market, competitors, and desired market position; establishes local plan, both directional and financial, to meet overall desired market position.
- Leads brand awareness campaign consistent with desired market position; establishes desired objectives to affirm marketing efforts; and expands office locations in order to meet overall market position.
- Defines current product and services and market opportunities; identifies new market products to serve existing clients and improve service mix.
- Establishes sales goals by sales person; initiates sales development programs which develop sales personnel to meet expectations; and supports the development of sales plans.
- Improve recruiting efforts by revitalizing recruitment strategy for internal and external candidates.
- Forecasts and sets short term and long term budget, sales, revenue, and account level profitability to ensure that all objectives will be reached.
- Advises managers on business trends and exceptions to maximize opportunities.
- Hires and develops local management; establishes targeted retention expectations; and supports consistent training for staff development.
- Participates in strategic planning with corporate and communicate direction to management.
- Works with corporate to improve operational effectiveness; acts as liaison to solve corporate support issues.
- Creates new processes and procedures to drive revenue and profit.
- Aligns key performance indicators (KPIs) with organization.
- Coaches, mentors, and inspires others to achieve client and internal objectives.
- Leads and participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business or a related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five (5) years of people management, required. Minimum of fourteen (14) years of equivalent combination of post high school education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Prior Adecco Group experience is highly desirable. Willingness and ability to travel also required.

- Ability to identify and/or document existing and new processes as well as evaluate their effectiveness, develop improvements and/or recommend changes or alternatives.

- Ability to effectively influence others at various levels within the organization.
- Ability to act accordingly under strong pressure, along with the ability to effectively manage crisis situations.
- Ability to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to establish strategic financial and budgeting plans.
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply sound leadership practices, including developing employees by inspiring, encouraging and providing constructive criticism to improve performance.
- Knowledge of training methodologies and the ability to develop and deliver technical/operational training to various levels of employees.
- $50M+ revenue responsibility.
- Ability to prepare and deliver successful sales presentations.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply employment-related laws, rules and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $116,376 - $213,356. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
