Senior Manager, Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The Senior Manager is central to building a modern, fit-for-purpose biostatistics and epidemiologic function within WHRI. You will provide strategic input on study design, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure statistical rigor across all phases of research. In addition to strategic leadership, this role requires hands-on execution. The Senior Manager will contribute directly to protocols, statistical analysis plans, programming implementation, and data review, while architecting scalable, reproducible workflows for RWE deliverables. This is a high-impact role for someone who is both a thinker and a doer, and who is ready to help shape the future of healthcare research within a mission-driven organization. You'll report to the Director of Real-World Evidence and work on-site at our offices in Bentonville, AR.

What you'll do:

• Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise on study design and statistical methodology for RWE research projects.
• Architect scalable, reproducible workflows and infrastructure to enable efficient, high-quality statistical deliverables.
• Lead and mentor a team in the execution of protocols, statistical analysis plans, programming implementation, and data review.
• Ensure statistical rigor and regulatory compliance across all phases of research, collaborating cross-functionally with data science, epidemiology, and product teams.
• Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, contributing directly to study deliverables while shaping long-term biostatistics capabilities.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in biostatistics, with experience leading statistical strategy and execution for real-world evidence or epidemiologic studies.
• Deep expertise in study design, statistical analysis, and programming (e.g., R, SQL, Python) with large, complex, real-world healthcare datasets.
• Experience with regulatory, methodological, and data quality requirements for RWE studies.
• Experience architecting scalable, reproducible statistical workflows and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to building infrastructure and processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in biostatistics. Prior work experience in the application of biostatistics in asset development. Prior work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in closely related academic epidemiological/outcomes research. Knowledge of CDISC requirements for SDTM and ADaM. Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to clinical development of drugs and biologics.
