Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 2-week locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity starts on Oct 13, 2025, with 12-hour day shifts from 8am to 8pm, including coverage on Oct 13 and Oct 15. The role requires sole provider coverage in urgent care, handling a broad variety of cases. Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole clinician covering urgent care for the duration of each shift
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and urgent medical cases
• Deliver patient care independently, making appropriate clinical decisions
• Document all encounters using Epic EMR
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

• Must hold a current NY state license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Strong background in urgent care with proven ability to work solo
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
