In this role, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct regular patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals while following security-related procedures established for the food and beverage environment.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe conditions, identify security-related concerns, and report findings.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals and coordinating with emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
