Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking an ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST to join our team!
Duties Include:

• Performs complex ultrasound procedures while exercising professional judgment in the performance of services.
• Demonstrates the ability to obtain high quality diagnostic images and analyze the findings.
• Provides the radiologist with diagnostic evidence along with the pertinent clinical assessment, in order for a final diagnosis to be made.

HOURS: This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period. Day Shift.
Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound standards and procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved ultrasound program.
• Good communication skills.
• Possesses expert knowledge of and applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to the patient, self and others.
• Must be ARDMS registered. Must maintain registered status by meeting their CME requirements and guidelines.
• Experience in Echocardiography or Breast Ultrasound a plus!
