Turbine Airfoils Quality Core Solutions Leader

Job Description Summary

The Core Solutions Quality Leader is a second line leader (Leader of Leaders) having a team consisting of the Turbine Airfoils Bladeworx shop, as well as the Turbine Airfoils Coating Quality organization. For this role, we are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead the quality teams driving development of innovative machining processes, MRL, and NPIs across turbine blades and ensure the highest standards of quality control for airfoil coating vendors. This senior position is responsible for leading a team of leaders and technical experts driving continuous improvement, aligning operations with organizational priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) to directly support the Quality success of the Prime Machining shops through process development & deployment, as well as high quality farm out processes.

Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.

Required Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Turbine Airfoil Quality).

  Additional 8 years experience in Turbine Airfoils Quality, Castings, Manufacturing, and/or Engineering
