Job Details

We seek a dynamic and experienced Trusts & Estates Partner to join our firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about providing exceptional legal advice to high net worth clients. Responsibilities include managing trusts and estates matters such as wills, powers of attorney, succession, beneficiary designations, and assets. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in trusts and estates law and provides personalized, strategic advice. This is a permanent position with competitive pay and a team of skilled legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on trusts and estates, including wills, powers of attorney, succession, beneficiary designations, and assets.
• Develop and implement estate plans tailored to clients' needs.
• Manage trust and estate administration, probate proceedings, trust accounting, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with team members for seamless client service.
• Stay updated with laws and enhance services accordingly.
• Conduct client meetings for estate planning and strategic advice.
• Draft legal documents with attention to detail.
• Represent the firm at industry events.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 10 years in trusts and estates law, focusing on high net worth clients.
• Admission to the IL state bar.
• Proven experience managing trusts and estates matters.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
• Strong business development skills.
• Proficiency in legal software and technology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
