A law firm seeks a skilled and dedicated Trial Attorney to join its team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves handling high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to securing justice for clients. Duties:
Manage a caseload of serious injury and wrongful death claims from intake through trial.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions.
Engage in discovery, including depositions and expert witness preparation.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process.
Requirements:
Proven experience in personal injury litigation with a strong trial background.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to client advocacy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
A proactive, problem-solving approach to legal challenges.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
Certifications:
Georgia State Bar License (Required).
Skills:
Expertise in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
Proficiency in legal research and case strategy development.
Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
Compassionate client service and interpersonal skills.
