Job Description

An opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in both vascular and neuro procedures. Candidates must have a strong background in cardiac and vascular interventional labs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain sterile technique while preparing supplies for procedures.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and documentation accuracy.
• Prepare entry sites using sterile techniques.
• Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation, available for emergent procedures 24/7.
• Initiate resuscitative measures and cardiac defibrillation as directed.
• Document all procedures performed and manage inventory accurately.
• Participate in educational opportunities and instruct radiography students.
• Engage in performance improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in a Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab.
• Proficient in multiple specialties as defined by the department.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.
