About The Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 18:00 Experience: 2+ years required License: Active State License required Certifications: BLS, CPR required; ARRT preferred Must-Have: - 1 year of in-specialty experience - First-timers accepted dependent on experience - Active WV state license required to start assignment Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist working 4x10 days, from 07:00 to 18:00, Tuesday to Friday. No weekends or on-call requirements are expected. The daily caseload per technologist is between 10 to 15 cases. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least 1 year in a specialty setting. BLS and CPR certifications are required, while ARRT certification is preferred. Active state licensing is mandatory, with the possibility of accepting pending licenses. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements for flu unless a medical exemption is provided. Detailed documentation must be provided during the application process. Prior experience in a travel role is beneficial but not mandatory. Job responsibilities will include performing various interventional radiology procedures. Candidates will maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during procedures. The technologist will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Candidates should have proficiency in the required specialized skills and equipment relevant to interventional radiology.
