Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an OB Ultrasound Tech with at least 2 years of maternal fetal medicine experience and ARDMS-OBGYN certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a maternal fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound unit
• Handle a daily caseload of approximately 12 exams per tech in a 5-bed setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• No weekends or on-call required
• Charting is completed using Viewpoint and Epic systems
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Gray scrubs are required
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Up to 10 days of requested time off approved per 13-week contract, with restrictions during specific blackout periods
• Completion of pre-start orientation modules is required
• Candidates previously employed at the client or its affiliates in the past two years are not eligible
• Travel pay eligibility requires living at least 75 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active ARDMS-OBGYN certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent maternal fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound experience required
• Experience with Viewpoint and Epic EMR/charting preferred
• License required if applicable
