Experience and Certification Required:
3+ Years of experience required.
Completion of an approved Surgical Technician training program accredited by the Association of Surgical Technologist (AST).
Must be certified within 6 months after 3-year qualification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA 3yr) – or Surgical Technologist Certification (CST), or current certification from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT-3yr 6240 hours) – Certified Tech in Surgery (TS-C).
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
10-hour shift per day from 6:30am - 5pm; 4 days a week (weekdays); with on-call.
