Radiology Job Details

• Position Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist, Part-Time (.5 FTE)
• Location: Main Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 (Chicago metro area)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend or temp-to-hire)
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts (10:30pm – 7:00am)
• Schedule: Alternating weekly schedule (24 hours one week, 16 hours the next)
• Orientation: Day shift during first week
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2110-$2160

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• IEMA Accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology (Illinois requirement)
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technologist, including surgical and clinical cases
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-rays for inpatients, ER, and OR cases using fixed and portable radiology equipment
• Ensure patient care and safety during all imaging procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment: GE 656, GE Tempo Pro, GE XRD, Shimadzu portables, and OEC C-Arms
• Utilize Epic and GE Centricity PACS for accurate documentation and image management
• Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and the radiology department to deliver high-quality clinical support
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare regulatory standards
