Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location: Louisville, KY 40202 – Kentucky healthcare jobs
Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
Start Date: November 24, 2025
End Date: February 23, 2026
Duration: 13-week travel assignment
Shift: Tuesday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:30pm (10-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Call Requirements: 1 weekend shift per month
Setting: 462-bed Academic Medical Center
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1940 per week

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
Current ARRT certification required
Kentucky Radiation Operators License
Current BLS certification
Proficiency with Surgery C-arm and portable radiology equipment
Preferred: O-arm and Fluoroscopy experience
Experience with ER patients, inpatients, and stroke protocol imaging
Professional, motivated, and adaptable personality

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Shimadzu and GE portable radiology equipment
Support surgical teams with C-arm imaging during procedures
Deliver imaging services to ER and inpatient units, including stroke protocol cases
Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner and McKesson EMR systems
Participate in on-call rotation (1 weekend shift per month)
Follow department protocols and uphold high standards of patient care and safety
Comply with dress code: ceil blue scrub top with black or ceil blue bottoms
