Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in Epic for weekend overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based X-ray department
• Night shifts from Friday to Sunday, 23:00 to 11:30, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Candidates may be required to float within their scope as needed
• Uses the Epic electronic medical record system; Epic experience is required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate and there are no radius rules for applicants
• Candidates will complete mandatory orientation modules during their orientation week
• A drug and tobacco free workplace policy is strictly enforced
• Candidates must comply with the natural nail policy
• Travelers and former staff must not have worked at this facility within the past 12 months before being eligible to return
• Time off requests must be made at time of consideration, and no time off is approved during the first week of assignment
• Holiday coverage is not guaranteed
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Background checks will be conducted prior to assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an X-ray Technologist
• Current VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Graduation from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE accredited school; diploma, associate, or bachelor's accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional supervisory-level references are required
