Job Description

The CT Tech will perform cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques, reviewing requisitions to ensure completeness and adjusting equipment to produce optimal radiographic exposure. This role involves the selection of appropriate protocols for CT scan procedures, ensuring the proper levels of density and contrast to obtain high-quality images. Scanning procedures will cover various organs to localize sites of pathological processes, and examinations must be completed in a timely manner, documenting all procedures within Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Perform cat scan procedures, ensuring completeness of requisitions
• Adjust equipment settings for appropriate technical factors
• Select appropriate protocols for CT scans
• Document administration of contrast and relevant paperwork into Cerner
• Complete screenings/consents and paper scanning in a timely manner

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT imaging
• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced cert (preferred)
• MD License (must be in hand prior to start)
