Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Location: Burlington, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 – 18:00), Monday–Thursday

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

General Duties:

• Provide physical therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting for a diverse caseload including neuro, orthopedic, balance, and spine conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, perform assessments, and document patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of physical therapy experience required.
• Outpatient experience required.
• Certifications: BLS and active North Carolina PT license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Charting system: Epic (preferred).
• Proficiency in assessment, gait training, orthopedic rehab, pain management, and use of assistive/adaptive devices.
• Experience working with a variety of diagnoses such as degenerative joint/disk disease, post-surgical rehab, spinal conditions, and total joint replacements.
• Strong documentation and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vestibular, postpartum, or neurodevelopmental techniques.
• Prior charge experience preferred.

Additional Information:

• Patient age groups: adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
• Daily patient census: approximately 12.
• First-time travelers welcome.
