Travel Occupational Therapist (LTC Setting) - Up to $2023 / Week!!
Abilene, Texas - 13 weeks
Monday - Friday -- Day Shift -- 5x8s -- 36 Hours Guaranteed!

Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited program
Certifications Requirements: Texas OT License, CPR Certification, BLS Certification
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting, experience working with geriatric populations, previous travel therapy experience preferred
Open to a New Graduates if willing to learn and eager to work in a fairly fast paced environment (prefer that new graduates have SNF experience during Level II Fieldwork )

Other Requirements: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to adapt to new environments quickly, strong problem-solving abilities

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in a long-term care setting

Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies to promote independence and well-being
