Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU/MS Tele (Night Shift)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 hours/week

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity, mixed-unit team caring for Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and general Med-Surg patients. This role is ideal for nurses with recent PCU/IMC experience and a strong clinical foundation in telemetry and stepdown care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care across a mixed acuity unit with ratios adjusted based on patient needs (1:3–5 days/weekends; 1:3–6 nights)
• Float to sister units (West 2, West 3, Observation) as needed
• Manage a wide range of diagnoses including post-surgical, trauma, ortho, and overflow medical patients
• Utilize EPIC for documentation, Pyxis for medication administration, and SBAR for communication

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/IMC experience (within the last 3 years)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with IV insulin protocols, cardiac drips (including titration), and advanced airway management
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• PALS and TCAR certifications
• Experience with rare pediatric patients
• Strong background in surgical and trauma care

Additional Information:

• Scrubs: Any solid color
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days
• Unit Orientation: 12 hours
• Facility may float staff based on operational needs
