Skills:

This is a float position! There is NO home unit or facility. Floating is centralized and the base is the float zone’s city center. Float assignments may change on a schedule-by-schedule basis.

Baseline Float Requirements: -Floating may be required to any Centura location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location or Centura-identified “float zone”. -Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements (including skill set) in accordance with Centura policy.

Zone 1: (based in Colorado Springs, CO) – Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, St. Thomas More

Minimum Experience Requirements: One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty 

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor Degree in Nursing is preferred. 
State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC - required.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) -required. 
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support  (ACLS)- required.
NIHSS- Required.
ANCC; National Nursing Certification ANCC approved - strongly preferred
