• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 (Berkshires region)
• Healthcare Setting: 8-bed Operating Room Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 18, 2025 – January 17, 2026)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
• On-Call: Rotational
• Holiday Coverage: Required (must be available for two major holidays during assignment)
• Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,030–$3,250 per week

Qualifications – Operating Room RN Jobs in Massachusetts

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current CNOR certification (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)
• COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption required
• At least 1 year of experience required

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care as a First Assist in the Operating Room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and healthcare standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide holiday coverage as required
• Support patient and family education throughout the surgical process
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
