Operating Room RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (required for Arizona nursing jobs)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Robotics, Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT), Spine, and Total Joint procedures (Circulate/Scrub)
• Ability to take call and work scheduled weekends
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities for OR RN

• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, including circulating and scrubbing duties
• Assist with a range of surgical procedures: Robotics, CVT, Spine, and Total Joints
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control protocols
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
• Float to other units as needed within your clinical skillset
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care
