Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Bismarck, North Dakota (58501) – North Dakota nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – 5B Med Specialty Behavioral Unit (Medical Surgical & Behavioral Health)
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (includes every other weekend and holiday)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC
• Trauma Level: Level 2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – open to out-of-state candidates willing to obtain North Dakota licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in both Med/Surg and Behavioral Health (psychiatric nursing)
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical and Behavioral Health specialty unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver compassionate support to patients with both medical and psychiatric needs
• Accurately document patient information using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Participate in patient rounds, care planning, and unit activities
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Comply with all facility policies and procedures
