Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00

Pay Info: This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $10,000.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care environment, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will demonstrate and utilize nursing expertise to address the physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per their personalized care plans. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents
• Contributing to resident assessments and administering medications or treatments as ordered
• Providing technical support to healthcare professionals
• Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes
• Building effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public
• Communicating clearly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
• Counseling residents and families under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
• Educating residents to develop self-care plans

Please note that hours will be every Friday on the NOC shift.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred
• If applicable, completion of IV therapy/management requirements as per North Dakota Board of Nursing guidelines
• Experience in practical nursing, including supervised clinical exposure across the lifespan
• Current unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board; multi-state licensure preferred
• Completion of required competencies and ongoing education
