• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Unit Size: 42-bed ICU
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990–$2,130 per week

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – Arizona or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Demonstrated experience with critical care drips: vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, anticoagulants, insulin
• Ability to titrate IV drips and manage complex ICU patients
• Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer and titrate a wide range of IV drips and critical care medications
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document all care and interventions accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
• Float to other acute care units as required, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols
