ER RN Job Details

• Location: Webster, SD 57274 (South Dakota healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Emergency Room & Med/Surg
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2140 - $2290 per week
• Charting System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Compact RN license or South Dakota Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred: Critical Access Hospital experience
• Preferred: EPIC charting experience
• Ability to float between ER, Med/Surg, and Outpatient units

ER RN Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Registered Nurses to deliver patient care across med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department units
• Perform clinical nursing procedures including IV starts, foley catheter insertions, and emergency interventions
• Operate medical equipment such as Philips central monitor/telemetry and Lifepak 15
• Float between hospital units and provide charge nurse coverage in the ER as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC
• Participate in a tailored orientation for a smooth transition into this travel nurse job
