Schedule: 7:00pm – 7:30am, 12-hour rotating shifts
Hours per Week: 36 (3x12 hour shifts)
Shift Details: Every other weekend required; must be available for at least one holiday (day and evening); No call
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
EMR System: Cerner
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930 - $1990

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications preferred
Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans
Identify and address variances from patient goals, implementing solutions as needed
Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and analytical skills to provide effective nursing care
