We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Trout Creek, MI. • Coverage Dates : September 30, 2024 (orientation) to October 6, 2024
• Shift Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
• Shift Hours : 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week

• Patient Care :
  • Provide emergency care for patients in a busy outpatient setting.
  • Average patient load is around 30 patients per day.
  • Perform admissions with an average of 3 admissions per shift.
• Support Staff :
  • Work alongside ED Physicians and ED RNs.
• Practice Setting :
  • Outpatient emergency care with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

• EMR System : MediTech
• Board Certification : Required (Emergency Medicine)
• Fellowship : Not required
• Credentialing : Estimated timeframe is 30 days, expedited if documents are submitted promptly.
• Privileges : Temporary privileges are available if needed.
• Travel & Lodging : Reimbursement for travel and lodging if necessary.

• Licensure : Must be licensed in Michigan.
• Certifications :
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
  • BLS certification is required.
• Additional Information :
  • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.
  • Ability to cover shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with potential for call rotation.
