Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in the ER
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care and maintain up-to-date medical records
• Support patients and families during critical and stressful situations in the Emergency Department
