Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position requiring a MA RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Patient populations include pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic charting system
• Emergency RN responsibilities include triage, ongoing patient assessment, immediate intervention, and discharge teaching
• Must be able to care for patients across the lifespan and work in an interdisciplinary team environment
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Parking may incur additional costs depending on location
• Timekeeping managed through UKG/Kronos

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required from AHA
• CPI, MOAB, or equivalent crisis de-escalation certification required (can be completed on-site if needed)
• Primary source verification of professional license required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
