Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours in a rotating schedule, requiring flexibility. A minimum of every other weekend is expected.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse who can adapt to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and be responsive to the needs of the unit and patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Prior travel nurse experience is preferred, particularly in facilities with over 500 beds.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Preferred additional certifications include CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or ProAct of other de-escalation training.
