Position Overview:

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ED is a high-acuity environment where nurses must be prepared to manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions with urgency, precision, and professionalism.

Certifications & Requirements:

• Active NY RN License (must be current at time of submission)
• BLS (AHA)
• Epic EMR Experience – Required
• Navy Blue Scrubs – Required
• Must reside outside restricted local counties (local candidates not accepted as of 1/11/2024)

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Proven ability to respond quickly and effectively in critical situations
• Must be confident in triaging, prioritizing care, and working in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment

Skills & Competencies:

• Emergency triage and rapid assessment
• Trauma and critical care stabilization
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Epic EMR proficiency
• Ability to collaborate effectively under pressure
