Shift: 5x8 Days (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, including weekends as scheduled)
Pay Package
- Hourly Total: $55.88/hr
- W2 (Taxable): $20.00/hr
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $35.88/hr
- Weekly Total Gross: $2,235.00/week
- W2 (Taxable): $800.00/week
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,435.00/week
- OT Rate (on W2): $30.00/hr
- Hours per week: 40
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (inpatient experience required).
- Charting System: Epic (required).
- Certifications: BLS preferred.
- Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted.
- Licensure: Active Compact or MD RN license required at submission.
Preferred Skills
- Case Management & Utilization Review (Care coordination, discharge planning, admission criteria, audits, appeals & denials).
- Regulatory knowledge: CMS, DRG, ICD-10, HIPAA, CPT coding, The Joint Commission standards.
- Acute Hospital and Ambulatory experience strongly preferred.
Unit & Facility Details
- Unit: Case Management – 3410-11049
- Daily Census: 35–45 patients
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Schedule: 5x8 Days; shifts may include weekends.
- Compliance: Deadline is 5 days prior to start.
Additional InformationNo locals within 50 miles (strict rule).RTO must be declared with submission; cannot be modified later.Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital as needed.CPI Certificate required for most units.Return travelers must have a 6-month gap; former staff must be away for 12 months before returning as travelers.
