Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• MRI department in a major medical center setting
• Work schedule is 08:00 to 20:30, with no blocked scheduling allowed
• No local candidates accepted from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Candidates may not exceed 3 call-outs in a 13-week contract; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call out
• Flu vaccination is required with only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional accepted
• Requested time off must be submitted at application
• Competency testing may be required for ICU and MS applicants
• First-time travelers are welcome if all other requirements are met

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience required
• Active NYS license required at time of consideration (License required if applicable)
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Experience using Epic EMR is mandatory
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
