Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a dual-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for a night shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Position covers both CT and X-Ray imaging modalities
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Patient population includes neonate through geriatric
• Experience with Aquillion CT scanner required
• Perform all aspects of patient care in radiology while optimizing patient safety and minimizing errors
• Ensure equipment maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and participate in preventive maintenance procedures
• Perform radiological procedures independently, including patient positioning, immobilization, and equipment adjustment
• Practice radiation protection techniques for patient and staff safety
• Adhere to infection control protocols and respond appropriately to drug reactions and emergencies
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Document patient care and services accurately in records
• Adhere to a professional dress code and uphold organizational values
• Local candidates are accepted unless otherwise specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in both CT and X-Ray
• Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Completion of a degree or certificate in Radiology
• Must possess state licensure if applicable
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
