Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Dual role position requiring ability to work in both CT and X-Ray departments
• Experience with Aquillion CT scanner required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of degree or certificate in Radiology required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Physical requirements include light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry
• Perform all aspects of patient care in radiology environment optimizing patient safety
• Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups from neonate to geriatric
• Operate radiology equipment including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory and equipment inventories
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures including positioning and equipment adjustment
• Practice radiation protection techniques and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Maintain production and quality of radiographs following established standards
• Document patient care services and maintain patient confidentiality
• Adhere to dress code with neat and clean appearance
• Complete annual education requirements and maintain regulatory compliance
• Wear identification while on duty and report to work on time as scheduled
