**Job Title: CT Technologist**
**Shift: Overnight (Noc) - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 PM - 7 AM (includes on-call rotation)**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and professional CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional service excellence while performing the following key responsibilities:
- Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for specific CT procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain sterility of the field and instruments throughout procedures.
- Prepare requisitions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with patients and their families before, during, and after procedures to alleviate anxiety while respecting their privacy and dignity.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Verify patient identification in accordance with established policies.
- Observe patients’ conditions before and after contrast injections and report any sudden changes to nursing staff and radiologists.
- Ensure all required medical records, previous reports, lab results, and patient histories are readily available.
- Initiate emergency response in case of complications.
- Maintain adequate linen and medical supply inventories in each scanning room.
- Participate in daily inventory and restocking of supplies, noting any expired or soon-to-expire items.
- Support routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table, and associated equipment after each use.
- When assigned as Point, prioritize and triage procedures based on daily schedules and ensure efficient workflow while maintaining patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with staff and other departments regarding patient status and transport needs.
- Assist in performing routine procedures, screening for allergies and medication incompatibilities, and maintaining cleanliness of the working area.
- Notify the Coordinator or Lead of any equipment malfunctions and ensure all QA/QC requirements are met.
**Required Education:**
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or college-based Radiography program.
**Required Certifications & Licensure:**
- ARRT RT (R)
- ARRT RT (CT)
- New Jersey State X-Ray License (NJDEP)
- BLS Certification
**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting as a CT Technologist is a plus.
