Job Requirements

Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional surgical technology certifications preferred
Certifications Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (if applicable)
Experience Requirements: Up to 1 year of surgical technology experience preferred; new graduates considered
Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, physical stamina to stand for long periods, and ability to adapt to floating assignments

Job Responsibilities

Provide sterile tech support during surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained
Assist surgical team with instrument setup, equipment preparation, and maintaining sterile fields
Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with the surgical team throughout procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies and equipment usage
Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
