Travel Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) - Marion, IL
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,100 Weekly | Night Shifts
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) to join one of our trusted partner facilities in Marion, Illinois . Position Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,100 per week (based on experience)
Shift Requirements: 10-hour variable nights - Thursday & Friday 10:00 PM-8:30 AM, Saturday & Sunday 8:00 PM-6:30 AM
Float Requirements: None
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every or every other weekend/holiday
Charting System: EPIC required

Job Responsibilities

Perform complex laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and transfusion services.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Accurately analyze and interpret test results to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in EPIC.

Education & Certification Requirements

Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology, Biological, or Chemical Sciences .
Completion of laboratory training through an accredited laboratory school required.
MLT or MLS certification preferred.
AHA BLS certification required.

Minimum Experience

At least 1 year of experience in medical laboratory technology.
Prior EPIC charting experience required.
