Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Job Overview:

Citizens Medical Center is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-functioning cath lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures.
• Assist with pacemaker/defibrillator implants, Impella, IVL Shockwave, IVUS, FFR/DFR.
• Operate ultrasound and specialized cath lab equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotation every other week (daily from 3:15 PM to 6:45 AM, 20-minute response time).

Requirements:

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of recent cath lab experience
• Certifications: BLS, RCIS or ARRT (R) with Texas state license
• Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• RTO must be submitted with profile

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Experience with permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion
• Familiarity with atherectomy and IVL/Shockwave procedures

Additional Notes:

• No floating required
• No block scheduling
• Electrophysiology and TAVR experience not required
