Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Hybrid Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Technologist with 18+ months of dual IR and Cath Lab experience and current IN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital in the Interventional Radiology and Hybrid Cath Lab department
• Dual role requiring both IR and Cath Lab technical skills
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shift start times potentially as early as 6:30 AM
• Rotating after-hours call in Cath Lab and Hybrid OR, with up to 10 on-call shifts per month
• Scheduled to work every third weekend
• Required to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Uses Cerner EMR system; Cerner experience required or willingness to learn
• Must be comfortable in a dual IR/Cath Lab role and able to float as required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment
• RTO of up to 5 days is automatically approved; longer requests require facility approval
• Free parking is available on site
• Returning employees must have a 12-month separation before reapplying as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months to 2 years of experience as a Hybrid Cath Lab/IR Technologist
• Current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• IN state license must be in hand prior to consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Must have completed a degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Demonstrated proficiency in both interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
