Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Saint Joseph, MO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM), Call Required, Every 3rd Weekend
 

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will have strong structural heart and TAVR experience, along with proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left/right heart caths, stent placements, IABP, Impella, TAVR, Watchman, and other advanced interventions.
• Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment while adhering to sterile techniques and infection control standards.
• Accurately monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (travel experience preferred).
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS.
• Strong Structural Heart and TAVR experience required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred (training available).
