Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with strong structural heart and TAVR experience, ARRT R or RCIS certification, and a minimum of 2 years recent cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab environment rotating between 3 labs
• Cases include complex coronary interventions, TAVR procedures, structural heart cases, EP studies, and device implants
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call required with coverage every 3rd weekend and for Saturday elective cases
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures, including occasional coverage in the OR or additional lab as needed
• EPIC training provided for candidates with experience in other EMR systems
• Scrubs are provided
• Team includes experienced staff and physicians focused on mentorship and high clinical quality
• High-acuity, fast-paced environment with a family-oriented team culture
• Candidates must be ready to deliver rapid, high-quality care in compliance with clinical standards
• First-time travelers will be considered if experience requirements are met
• Local candidates are eligible at the same rate as travelers
• Strong potential for contract extension or permanent hire
• Orientation includes advanced procedure training opportunities
• Two references are required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification required; must have scrubbing and monitoring experience
• Strong structural heart and TAVR experience required
• Ability to independently manage cases from day one
• License required if applicable
