Tool and Die Machinist

We are seeking skilled Tool & Die Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for various machining processes.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
• Set up and operate Bridgeport type mills.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Cut, shape, and form metal parts using manual drill press, lathes, power saws, snips, files, sand blasters, surface grinders, and mallets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Haas machines.
• Experience with die maintenance and repair.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including precision tools.

Work Environment

• The shift operates from 2:30pm to 1am
• Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Tecumseh, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
