Mission

Understand specifications of the tasks at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
Program CNC Mills by translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
Configure machines by loading raw materials, installing necessary tools, and adjusting machine parameters (speed, feed, tool settings) based on job specifications.
Prepare test runs to check if the machines product outputs are according to specifications.
Continuously inspect parts for compliance with specifications using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
Prepare and operate CNC Mills to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Keep accurate records of machine settings, parts produced, and any adjustments made during the production process.
Enthusiasm to continually learn new skills and techniques
Maintain cleanliness in work area
Always promotes and emphasizes safety

Required Skills

CNC Mill experience (three years minimum Mazak or Haas preferred)
Proficient knowledge of common CNC milling techniques and practice
Proficiency in writing and interpreting G-codes and M-codes to control CNC machine movements
Skilled in reading technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of the parts being manufactured
Understanding and application of GD&T
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Analytical and numerical skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations
Ability to work with decimals and fractions
Use of basic measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
