TIG/MIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder to join our team on the 1st shift in Plant 5. This position involves custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures, with a requirement for proficiency in both TIG and MIG disciplines. Candidates should be able to work from complex blueprints and fabricate and weld a range of small to large steel and aluminum structures using Pedal TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures.
• Execute MIG welding tasks as required.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints for welding projects.
• Fabricate and weld small to large steel and aluminum structures.
• Ensure quality and precision in all welding tasks.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in MIG welding.
• 1+ year of experience in TIG welding.
• 2+ years of experience working from blueprints.
• 1+ year of fabricating experience.
• 1+ year of welding experience on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in fit-up welding and Pulse MIG welding.
• Ability to handle materials with thickness ranging from 3/32 to 1/2 inch.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. You will be manufacturing products for various industries, working with custom blueprints on projects ranging from custom computer cabinets to large frames for the oil industry. The environment promotes continuous learning and experience in custom welding tasks, with a focus on precision and innovation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
