Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Tandem Developer with strong expertise in authorization switches and payment systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BASE24, Connex, and Tandem architecture, and will be responsible for developing fault-tolerant applications, debugging processes, and customizing payment switch functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fault-tolerant applications using Tandem PATHWAY architecture.
- Customize and support payment switch systems including BASE24 and Connex.
- Utilize Tandem tools/utilities such as Netbatch, Spoolcom, Enform, FUP, SQLCI, SCUP, DDL, and INSPECT.
- Write and maintain code in TAL and C programming languages.
- Use test simulators like Finsim and Visa/MC for validation and testing.
- Perform Guardian Procedure calls and analyze save abend files for debugging.
- Work with ISO 8583 message formats for transaction processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- 7–15 years of experience in Tandem development.
- Strong expertise in BASE24, Connex, and Tandem architecture.
- Proficiency in TAL and C programming.
- Experience with Tandem utilities and tools.
- Hands-on experience with test simulators (Finsim, Visa/MC).
- Deep understanding of ISO 8583 standards.
- Experience in debugging and analyzing save abend files.
- Familiarity with Guardian Procedure calls.
- Proven experience in customizing payment switch systems.
- Exposure to financial transaction systems and high-availability environments.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or payments.
