Supervisor - Social Work

Supervisor in the Adult Behavioral Health Program: Responsible for all administrative and clinical functioning of the program, including all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by the program. Provide after-hours coverage for crisis calls to support program staff as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Possess a Master's degree from an accredited social services program.
• LMSW, LPC, or LLP (full licensure in the State of Michigan).
• Eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential at the time of hire.
• Specific experience working in a community mental health setting and knowledge of community resources.
• 3+ years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Job experience and competence in individual, family and group mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
• Competence in working in a collaborative way with clients and community, cultural competence, good organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Work independently, have excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills, have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data.
• Nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of our clients, staff members and all of the programs.
• Ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.

Length of Assignment: Ongoing

Shift / Hours Per Week: Mon-Thu 8:30am-7pm, Fri 8:30am-5pm and Sat 9am-1pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs. 37.5hrs/wk.
